At Clem Woodward Ltd, we have spent many years refining the process of transferring property management. We currently offer two routes for landlords looking to move their property to our care.
If you’re unhappy with the quality of tenants or the level of service, it may be time to transfer to an agent who will prioritise you and your property.
Our free landlord transfer service makes transferring management to Clem Woodward Ltd simple. Once you give notice to your current agent, we take care of everything else.
What we will do when you transfer management to us
- Review the client file received from your current agent and, where required, serve a Section 48 notice or issue a new tenancy agreement.
- Review all current safety certificates associated with the property.
- Transfer the deposit protection and re-serve the required documentation.
- Inspect the property, assess compliance with current legislation, and provide a detailed report with guidance, highlighting any failures and an action plan to ensure full legal compliance.
- Provide a single point of contact during the transfer, followed by ongoing support from our Maintenance and Finance teams.
- Offer a sliding scale of fees based on the number of properties transferred — the greater the volume, the more efficient and cost-effective the process.
- Provide expert assistance with tenancy renewals, rent collection, repairs, safety certificates, check-in/check-out reports, and deposit returns throughout the tenancy.
Typically, transferring management to Clem Woodward Ltd takes 7–14 days, although your current agent’s notice period will likely be 60–90 days. We work to make the transition as seamless as possible.
